The Book is a record of detailed study on the Nineteen-century Russian Writer, Ivan Turgenev and the most controversial theory of Nihilism, its etymology, development and practice. The book also underlines some close study on five most popular novels of Turgenev published in Russia, and one of them, Fathers and Sons, that popularized, what we know today as ‘nihilism’. It was Turgenev who popularized Literature in Russia and introduced Russian Literature to the world. It is a treatise, a record of deep and long study of seven years on Turgenev, his works, underlying themes and the theory of Nihilism that aims to assist the researchers to gain some insights in these subjects.
